This is a play and learn set based on insect life cycles. It includes items depicting each stage of a butterflies life from egg to caterpillar to pupae to beautiful butterfly. Each item is hand crocheted with fun colorful yarn. Included in the set are small laminated cards. The cards have a word on one side and a picture on the other each depicting one of the cycle stages. Children can learn all about the life of a butterfly while they engage with each item. The cards can make a fun matching game and help children identify important words used while learning about life cycles.

This offer comes with up to 4 complete sets of crocheted items and cards for each cycle stage. All of the items fit into a bright colorful cloth bag with a drawstring ribbon to keep them contained and clean.

This set is perfect for Kindergarten, 1st Grade and 2nd Grade teachers. They can use it during lecture time and/or during their centers/stations in the classroom. This makes a wonderful teacher gift.

The colors used to make each item, including the bag, will be vary from the photos. If you have any request for bag and/or butterfly colors you may let us know in the notes on your order and we will do our best to accommodate the request. Other wise we love being creative and will make a set that will be fun for both boys and girls alike. The type of bead used for the eggs may vary.

The bag size is about 8 X 9 inches. The butterflies are about 3 X 4 inches. The caterpillars are about 3 inches long. The cards are 2 X 3 1/2 inches.

The bag and crocheted items can be cleaned using warm soapy water and air dried. The cards can be wiped off with a damp cloth.
